Mr. Abdullahi Rashid Abdullahi

Beemark Somalia Executive Director, Mr. Abdullahi holds a bachelor degree in development study from Kampala University and a master’s degree in Conflict Management and Peace building from African Nazarene University (Kenya), Abdullah is an expert in addressing conflict dynamics in Horn of Africa region having taken lead in implementation of successful programs in governments and CSOs engagement, conflict and peace and grassroots cohesion among communities in Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan and Eritrea. He has worked with the United Nations, Regional Bodies, INGOS and Government agencies in Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia. Abdullahi have interest in Research in Governance, Peace, Conflict and CVE. Abdullahi expressively travels and have most recently worked in different regions of Somalia with focus on Jubaland State and South West State as Reconciliation expert under Somali Stabilization Initiative, a programme funded by USAID through its office of Transition Initiative with IOM in Somalia. In addition, Mr. Abdullahi have previously managed a two-year programme funded by EU meant to strengthen engagement between the government and civil society sector with particular focus on election.

Mr. Edin D. Issak

With over 9 years of experience in humanitarians and development organizations having worked with various local and international development and humanitarian organizations within Horn and East Africa. Mr. Edin have successfully provided Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning support to multiple and complex programs implemented in various HoA region by Save the Children International, Amref Health Africa, CHARDA-Ke and HLDI-Africa. He has extensively worked in the conflict-ridden Horn of Africa and delivered project within the regions of Ethiopia, Northern Kenya and South-Central Somalia. Mr. Edin is a master’s Student at Maseno University Kenya and holds a Degree in Development studies and has various academic and professional trainings.

Edin have conducted research, Evaluations, Surveys and capacity building covering various thematic areas in Peace and Conflict, Health, Nutrition, Democracy and Governance, Media, CVE and wide range of emerging issues.

Nicholas Ndiema Ndiwa
STATISTICIAN

Nicholas Ndiema Ndiwa

Mr Nicholas has over 15 years’ experience in database management and analysis gained from working as an Applied Statistician for projects in agricultural, livestock and refugees related fields. He is competent in the design and development research studies, data processing and statistical data analysis. Nicholas is proficient in a number of statistical packages among SPSS, GENSTAT, SAS, STATA, R, SNA and Nvivo. He has played leading roles in modelling of data from a variety of studies particularly on livelihood, livestock and crop production, seed longevity, technology adoption, monitoring & impact evaluation among rural communities. Nicholas have conducted studies in East, West and the Horn of Africa countries.

Nicholas holds BSC Statistics from University of South Africa (Pretoria), National Diploma in Data-metrics from University of South Africa (Pretoria) and various other professional and academic certificates in data and information managements. Mr. Nicholas have taken lead in over thirty-five research studies and have made publications in various scientific Journals.

Hassan Ali Ibrahim

Hassan Ali Ibrahim

Licensed Public Health Specialist with over (10) years of experience in Research and Strategic Information with special interest in Reproductive Health Research. Mr. Hassan have specialized in Reproductive Health and have worked in various capacities within the Ministry of Health-Ke, department of Family Health including: The Maternal and New-Born, Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health, Family Planning and Monitoring and Evaluation & Research. Hassan is passionate about reduction of the maternal mortalities have involved in the development of various strategies such as M-CARE Strategy, MPDSR guidelines, Reproductive Health policy and Strategy, Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights among other relevant documents both at the County and the National level.

Mr Hassan is a first-class graduate of BSC Public Health (Kenyatta University) and Hold MHS Reproductive Health from University of Ibdan (Nigeria).

Ms. Anab is Gender and Women Studies specialist, with over 6 years of experience working with
disadvantaged groups in East and Horn of Africa. Ms. Anab handled Women and youth involvements in
Mainstream Government and Development partners Programming for various organizations and
Government institutions. She is passionate about women, gender and disadvantaged group rights and have fervently campaigned for the same. Ms. Anab is a graduate, she holds, BA International Relations from Adnan Menderes University (Turkey). She speaks English, Turkish and intermittent Arabic
Robert Muchunu Wambu

Robert Muchunu Wambu

He is a holder of Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Sciences and Philosophy from the University of Nairobi (1991) and has worked in the humanitarian and development field over the last 28 years with various NGOs in Kenya, Uganda, Somalia and South Sudan. He has diverse experience gained over the years in senior management positions within NGOs and as a consultant both at firm and as an independent one. This has provided him with an opportunity to broaden his experience through working in diverse programming fields within the humanitarian, rehabilitation and development continuum (including promotion of good governance and promotion of sustainable management of natural resources). He has eclectic skills in Assessments/surveys, advocacy, project cycle (from problem Identification to Monitoring and Evaluation), training and mentoring other practitioners/interns, identifying lessons leant through well designed feedback mechanisms and
incorporating them into future planning, project finance management and finally project reporting.

Mohamed Abdi Kheyley is career health professional being a holder of various health related qualifications including a Master’s in Human Nutrition & Dietetic from Kenya Methodist University (KeMU), Bachelor of Science in Public Health obtained from Mt. Kenya University, 2012 and a Clinical Medicine and Surgery degree from Egerton University, 2008. Mr. Kheyle has a vast experience in in the field of health provision, water and sanitation in the last 10 years. He has previously worked with MSF (OCB), Cairo-Egypt as Clinic Supervisor in a project addressing Sexual violence and Victims of torture in Cairo; Centre for Peace and Democracy (CPD-Africa), Somalia, where he was in charge of implementation of two projects at a Project Manager level in Governance and Integrated project supported by UNOCHA for Somalia addressing the Health, Nutrition, Education, WASH and Food Security and Livelihood needs of drought affected population. He also worked as the Regional WASH Focal Point for the WASH Cluster which brings together organizations working in the provision of WASH in Galgadud and Mudug Regions of Central Somalia. He has also served in Mercy Corps, Somalia, in delivering integrated projects on management level in Emergency, WASH, Protection, Livelihood, Peace and Governance.
